Today, as we mark our 30th anniversary, we celebrate not just the passage of time, but the thousands of leaders whose careers and organizations have been transformed through the power of exceptional coaching.
As we celebrate this anniversary, we do so with deep gratitude for our clients, our coaches, and the many relationships that have shaped WJM over three decades. This occasion is also a moment to honor our founder, William J. Morin. Bill Morin was a true pioneer in the human resources and executive development field. Long before executive coaching became a mainstream investment, he saw where leadership development was headed and helped create frameworks and strategies that are now used around the world. When Bill founded WJM in 1996, he believed that senior leaders deserved something different - a bespoke, human-centered approach that honored the complexity of their roles and the depth of their potential. That belief is still the foundation of everything we do.
Today, we're helping leaders navigate the challenges of artificial intelligence adoption, hybrid work, and an era of unprecedented organizational complexity. The context and the tools have changed. The commitment has not. Under Tim Morin’s leadership as CEO since 2004, WJM has continued to evolve while protecting what has always made the firm distinctive: exceptional coaches, rigorous quality standards, close partnership with clients, and a steadfast commitment to coaching excellence. Today, WJM offers more than 1,000 carefully selected coaches in 47 countries, provides dedicated coach supervision for each engagement, and continues to invest in thoughtful innovation that supports, rather than replaces, the human connection at the heart of effective coaching.
